RISING up through the hot, arid Australian landscape, comes the new, cooling sound of Bluzoid. From the powerful opening piece of the debut album, to the almost twenty minutes of atmospheric ambience of the title track The Planet, Bluzoid creates a fresh mix of melodic and imaginative soundscapes

The Planet has been a long time project of Bluzoid. It started as far back as 1992 ish, when a young Bluzoid decided to learn the keyboard. He was already playing the guitar in various bands and music projects but wanted to explore the world of electronic music. Bluzoid was a fan of the masters of EM, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Jean Michel Jarre etc from an early age and always wanted to create his own EM. He bought his first synthesizer - Ensoniq SD 1 - this was a complete work station which could effectively record 16 tracks of whatever was played on the keyboard. Anyway nearly all of the pieces on The Planet were written using the SD 1 and finished with the help of the latest computer and software technology.
